A different result for a different job
All Tools
One answer, several teams, a complete order or a match between two lists? Start with the result you need. These are the six tools you can use on WheelSays today, each with its own job.
Choose your result
Random Choice Wheel
Add your choices and spin the wheel to pick one at random.
Random Team Generator
Split a list into random teams with sizes kept as even as possible.
Secret Santa Generator
Draw a Secret Santa assignment for everyone, with no self-assignments and private reveals.
Classroom Name Picker
Pick one present student at a time without repeats until everyone has had a turn.
Random List Shuffler
Put every list entry into one complete random order, keeping repeated labels separate.
Random Assignment Generator
Match people to tasks, roles or items, with balanced loads and optional required or excluded pairs.
A pick is different from an order
One result now: the Wheel chooses one entry from your options. Classroom Name Picker also selects one person, but keeps track of who has already had a turn within the current round. Use that distinction when everyone needs an opportunity to speak.
The whole list at once: Teams divides people into groups. Shuffle returns every entry in one sequence. Neither needs a second list of jobs, topics or items.
A relationship between entries: Random Assignment matches people to a separate list of items. Secret Santa has a narrower purpose: everyone gives once and receives once, nobody draws themselves, and each assignment is revealed privately.
You do not need an account to use these tools. Useful source lists can be saved explicitly in the current browser. A saved list is not a saved result, and moving to another device does not bring that browser's lists with you.
