Wheel choices and saved lists

• Temporary: Current wheel choices, random-team assignments, Secret Santa assignments and reveal progress, and Classroom Name Picker results, picked order, absences and internal participant IDs, Random List Shuffler input and ordered results, Random Assignment Generator input, rules, mode and results, plus same-tab transfer data, stay in memory.
• Saved: When you choose to save a list, only its name and ordered entry labels stay in this browser's local storage until you delete them or clear the site's browser data.
• Not sent by the tools: List entries, participant names, assignments, and shuffled order are not added to analytics, logs, forms, requests, or page URLs. The Classroom picker also does not send attendance, result, history, or participant-ID state. The assignment tool does not send required or excluded pairs.

The random team generator, Secret Santa generator, Classroom Name Picker, the Random List Shuffler, and the Random Assignment Generator all reuse the same generic saved-list store. There is no account, cloud copy, or server-side roster storage. The Shuffler and assignment tool have no server-side list storage either.

Classroom activity is temporary: Refreshing or leaving the Classroom Name Picker clears its current result, picked history, absence flags, and participant IDs. Explicit Save stores only the generic list name and ordered student labels in this browser. Enter only the label needed to identify a student. A teacher controls who can see a projected result; WheelSays cannot make a classroom display private.

Shuffled orders are temporary: Unsaved Random List Shuffler input and its ordered result stay in memory and are cleared when you refresh or leave the page. Explicit Save stores only the current input list, not a shuffled order. Copy places the visible order in the device clipboard; WheelSays does not retain that copy.

Assignments are temporary: The two unsaved editors, occurrence IDs, required or excluded rules, unequal-list mode and assignment result clear when you refresh or leave the page. Explicit Save stores only the selected People or Items source list. Copy places the visible result in the device clipboard; WheelSays does not retain that copy. Print / Save as PDF hands the visible summary and ledger to the browser or device print dialog. WheelSays does not create, name, upload or retain a PDF or other file, and cannot observe whether you print, cancel or use a browser-provided save option.

Secret Santa reveals are processed locally in the pass-the-device workflow.

Current teams only: Downloading a team PDF copies only the assignment currently shown into measured, image-based pages in this browser. It does not reshuffle, read a saved roster, send participant names, or create a server copy. The UTC filename timestamp is not rendered on the PDF pages.

Current pair only: Copying an assignment places only that pair in the device clipboard. Downloading a private card creates one PNG locally with only that participant and recipient. WheelSays does not retain the card.

You control copied text and downloaded files afterward. A shared browser or device is not a cryptographic security boundary. Refreshing or leaving discards the in-memory draw.

Consent and analytics

A regional posture cookie and the browser key consent-status remember the analytics choice. Google Analytics requests are blocked unless a valid measurement ID exists and the current consent status allows them.

Contact and feedback

Contact and Feedback are active in Production. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies submissions, Brevo delivers messages, and Vercel WAF rate-limits the two form endpoints.

Brevo receives the validated name, topic, and message only after the honeypot, configuration, and server-side Turnstile checks pass. A validated visitor email is used only as the optional Reply-To address, never as the sender. Form contents are not used for analytics.

Delivery limitation: Provider acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery.
