Shuffle the whole list, not one winner

A full-list shuffle gives every current entry a position in one complete result. It is useful when you need a presentation running order, a queue, a draft order, a sequence of chores, or a fresh playlist order. It does not choose one winner and it does not remove entries across a series of separate turns.

Keep sequence separate from groups

This page returns one vertical order. It does not divide the entries into labelled groups or try to balance headcounts. If you need several groups instead of first, second, third, and later positions, open the Random Team Generator.

Numbered view makes each position visible. Plain view hides the printed numbers while keeping the same ordered-list meaning for assistive technology. The selected view also controls the text placed on the clipboard, so switching format never changes or reshuffles the result.

Repeated labels remain separate entries

Each non-empty line receives its own temporary identity. If two entries are both called Alex, both appear in the shuffled list; one is never silently merged with the other. WheelSays adds occurrence context for screen-reader users without changing the visible label or the text copied to the clipboard.

Blank lines are ignored, surrounding spaces are removed, and each retained label can contain up to 60 characters. Unicode, emoji, and repeated entries keep their entered spelling. Edit the source list when a label needs correction, then create a new complete order.

Use browser randomness without forcing a different result

WheelSays shuffles the current entries using browser cryptography. Every entry appears once in the resulting order. Shuffle again starts from the same stable source snapshot, not from the order currently on screen. A random shuffle can occasionally repeat an earlier arrangement, and WheelSays does not distort the process by retrying until it looks different.

If browser randomness fails, an initial attempt produces no partial result. A later failed reshuffle leaves the previous complete result available so the page never presents a mixture of old and new positions.

Save the source only when you choose

Unsaved input, temporary item identities, the selected display format, and the shuffled result stay in memory. Refreshing or leaving the page clears them. The explicit Save control stores only the generic list name and the source labels in their source order in this browser; it never stores the shuffled order.

Copying is a user-directed transfer to the device clipboard. WheelSays does not retain the copied text, but the browser, operating system, or another clipboard tool may keep its own history. Read the full privacy explanation, or send focused workflow details through the feedback form.
